Happy Thanksgiving!


Emma really enjoyed her Thanksgiving feast this year! We learned that she DOES like cranberry sauce but she does NOT like asparagus. (For those of you keeping track at home, this now brings the total number of veggies Emma dislikes to two: lima beans, which she will pick out of a serving of mixed veggies and throw on the floor, and asparagus.) Emma, at 18 months old, has begun to mimic everything Mommy and Daddy say and do, which means she has now learned how to feed the cats from the table (or her high chair, as the case may be). Yep, passing those bad habits on to the next generation - Emma was taking pieces of turkey off her tray, holding them over the side, and calling the cats over to her, then dropping the turkey to the floor for them. Needless to say, Chloe and Katie are suddenly much more fond of the kiddo than they have been since she became mobile and began chasing them around the house. (Funny how the cats aren't overly enamored of a noisy toddler coming at them yelling "TICKLE TICKLE!")
