Daddy's Girl
Yesterday was Father's Day, and Emma had a ball with her Daddy! First, we went to the zoo, where Daddy and Emma watched the elephant demonstration, saw the baboons acting crazy, hung out by the sea lions' tank and checked out the bird room (all of Emma's favorite things to do at the zoo). Later in the afternoon, Emma enjoyed some of her favorite backyard activities with her Daddy too, like sliding down the slide with Daddy to catch her at the bottom, hanging out in her tent, playing hide and seek, going for a walk around the yard, playing patty cake and then sharing some animal crackers for a snack. Em stopped playing with Daddy long enough to peer over at Mommy who was playing photographer, but then it was right back to more chasing Daddy around the yard! Before heading inside for dinner, Emma checked out her new pool (thanks, Aunt Cathy!) but didn't seem to "get" it... it will make more sense once it has water in it and Em's in her swimsuit, we're sure!
