Swing baby
Today has been another beautiful, sunny spring day, and since Daddy took the day off to play with his girls, we went to the park to see how Emma would like things like swings and merry-go-rounds. Emma wasn't quite sure what to make of the swing at first, but quickly decided it was fun to have Daddy push her - but not too high! After a few minutes, she was just relaxing in the swing to enjoy the ride. After a lot of swinging, we checked out the slides, which were old news to Emma since she plays on slides at Gymboree every week, so we moved on to the merry-go-round. Mommy held Em on the merry-go-round while Daddy pushed. We went around many times and both enjoyed it until one spin too many made us both a bit queasy! After that we headed for home and a bit of lunch, and then went out to another park to see what kind of swings they had there. They didn't have any different ones, but Emma had lots of fun on them anyway! She is looking forward to many more trips to the park now that it is getting warmer outside!
