Cabin Fever!
Emma is starting to suffer from a bit of cabin fever, after spending the past several days solely indoors thanks to some ridiculously frigid weather. She did make a few, brief appearances outdoors over the weekend, like going to church, but otherwise the only socializing Emma did recently was hanging out with Aunt Cathy on Saturday night when she came over to visit Emma (oh, and I guess her parents too). Emma had to skip story time and even a free lunch at a cool Mediterranean restaurant last week because of the cold! Mommy and Daddy weren't being overprotective parents, either - it has been so cold outside that Emma's vinyl stroller rain/wind cover actually turned brittle and shattered during the under-one-minute dash from the car into Barnes and Noble for story time last Wednesday! Emma is happy that the weather has soared into the teens and twenties, so she can resume her normal social life this week.
