Mermaid Emma
Emma is one step closer to being a mermaid tonight - she graduated from the infant tub in the kitchen sink to the regular tub in the bathroom! Emma stretched herself out in the tub, which has a lot more room than the infant tub to be sure! (Yes, Mommy and Daddy censored that picture... we must protect Emma's virtue since her fins and tail haven't turned up yet!) Emma seemed a bit uncertain at first, but soon acclimated to her new bathtime surroundings and even gave us a smile or two by the end of the bath. The only downside of the big tub is that bathtime now gives Mommy and Daddy much more achy backs than standing at the kitchen sink! Em is rooting for Santa to bring her some tub toys to play with during her nightly bath... we'll see what turns up in her stocking next week! (She's definitely on the nice list, so she should be pleased...)
