Emma's major growth spurt!
We suspected that Emma was going through a bit of a growth spurt, as she has been sleeping almost constantly since Sunday and has been eating huge bottles every three hours all day long (as opposed to medium bottles every four hours)... well, the proof is in, folks! We weighed and measured Em this afternoon, and she is up to 14 pounds, 2 ounces and is now between 24-24.5 inches long! (She was wiggling so it was hard to get a good read on the tape measure.) That is a gain of 10 ounces since Sunday, and some serious length too, since she was only 22 inches long the last time we checked! I tried to take a cute picture of her to commemorate the growth spurt for the website, but Emma wasn't into it. Hence, we have this picture, in which she is saying "But, Mooooommmmmmm, I don't wanna have my picture taken!" This was after she was being such a pleasant girl all day too... we went on errands and had a nice visit with Emma's honorary grandma, Ginny, and then went to Daddy's office for her weight check. She's even smiley now. Guess sometimes she just doesn't want to be photographed! I'll try again later...
