Emma's first wedding
No, we haven't made Emma a child bride and married her off already - Emma attended her first wedding yesterday, when her friend Alex's mom and dad tied the knot in Utica, NY. Here are the happy bride and groom outside the church after the ceremony, and here is a shot of Emma with Joe and Deb at the reception. At the church, Emma was more interested in eating her hands, snoozing and occasionally sneezing on the guests in front of us than the actual wedding ceremony itself, but at the reception, she had fun hanging out with her friend Hannah's mom, Ann Marie, and even shared a couple of dances with Hannah's dad, Mike. It was a lovely wedding and a fun day and night for Emma as well as her Mommy and Daddy, who enjoyed hanging out with the grown-ups as much as Emma did. Of course, Emma enjoyed the 2.5 hour drive the most since she slept the whole time we were in the car! We also got a better shot of Emma doing her glum chum expression the other night when she was being her little Diva Baby self. We love our little diva daughter!
