The new formula must be working...
... because we weighed Emma this afternoon at Daddy's office and she is up to ELEVEN pounds, TWELVE ounces! This is what an 11.75 pound Emma looks like - a happy girl!

Emma also created a bit of a stir in church this morning. She decided to start hiccuping VERY loudly during the pastoral prayer - in other words, when the church service is at its most quiet. We were sitting in the very back of the sanctuary, but her hiccups were loud enough that a lot of the congregation started cracking up and even the pastor said something to us after the service. I took Emma out into the hall so her hiccups wouldn't disrupt the rest of the prayer, but she was so loud that the hall wasn't far enough away either, so Emma and I wound up going for a stroll down to the other end of the church just so that everyone could pray in peace! Silly kid - she slept through the whole thing, too, since she is such a talented baby that she can hiccup in her sleep!
