Super baby!
Emma went to visit her Daddy at work today, and while we were there, Daddy had the brilliant idea to weigh her using their handy-dandy UPS scale. In case you can't see the readout on the scale (which we zeroed out with her carrier on it so that the weight would be ALL Emma), here's a close up of the grand total. Yes, Emma is almost EIGHT AND A HALF POUNDS! She's up to 8 pounds, 7.2 ounces, to be precise - she has doubled her weight since was in the hospital! It was Emma's first visit to Daddy's office, and true to form, she slept the entire time. She didn't even wake up on the car ride home when Mommy was singing along with her Chicago Greatest Hits CD at the top of her lungs!

Once we got home, however, Emma decided to wake up and play in her bassinet.

• She was having a great time playing with her Wiggle Worm rattle and keys that Mommy and Daddy hung over the side of her bassinet within arms' and eyes' reach.
  
• She was grabbing at the toys and looking in the mirror at her reflection too.
  
• She was so cute that Mommy took another close up shot of her while she played.
