Emma's busy weekend
Emma had a very busy weekend! First, her Gramma Bindert and Aunt Betsy drove up from New York City to visit her on Friday. Emma loved having the company and hanging out with them, especially since it meant she got held a LOT!

On Saturday, Emma and Mommy were the guests of honor at a baby shower, given by Emma's godmother, Cathy. The shower had a Winnie the Pooh theme, which is, of course, a Smith family favorite. There were even games to play, thanks to Cathy's able helpers, Doreen and Chris.

• Doreen brought this cake that featured Winnie the Pooh designs that match the border in Emma's nursery, how cool! There were many different desserts to choose from, each more delicious than the next. Emma was very disappointed that she only got a bottle of formula!
  
• Emma hung out after her shower with Mommy and her "Aunt" Lauri, who drove up from Pennsylvania to attend the shower. Emma can't wait 'til she's old enough for Lauri to teach her how to beat Mommy at "Spit" - one of their favorite card games from when they were kids.
